What effects does Coors Field have on Denver?
My Conclusion
- Coors Field has completely transformed the Lower Downtown (LoDo) area by attracting a sturdy fan base that allows businesses to form and grow, and residental areas to develop, which then boosts the Denver economy and allows the LoDo area to continue to develop into a very unique and popular area. This also resulted in a much safer area where anyone can come and visit many different attractions even when there is no game that day.
- I started out by developing my driving question, and using ten auxilliary I was able to help answer the question. My journey began by tearing through Google and using its vast resources to get most of the information I needed. After that I turned to Kevin Khan who gave me his insight on my driving question and helped me fill in some of the missing pieces. After that I turned back to internet research, as well as decided to make a website to share my work. During class I listened to Jake Mager, one of my classmates, give a presentation on restaurants in Denver which I was able to use towards my project as well. To finish everything off I did a little more internet research and talked to my Dad, who is a fireman, about safety. My journey towards my conclusion wasn't too complicated, but I had to take extra time to make sure it was excellent.
